New Apartment, Celebrations, and Beginning of the End

CHAOS. Pure chaos. And order still hasn't come of chaos, so I will try and distill what I can from what has happened lately.

After being out of work since his 2014 internship, Todd finally found a job in mid-June. It pays pretty well and he can keep the job after graduation, which is great!

New job meant that we had to start looking for a different apartment since he would need to work from home some of the time to get hours for work. It was hard. We didn't want to leave the current landlord and not many feasible options were to be found in Logan. Height of the ceilings and locations were pitfalls for most apartments. However, we finally found one that had everything we wanted and more. A built in desk. A DISHWASHER. A BATHTUB. It's heaven.

Part of the chaos was because we received the keys August 13th, and I left for my annual trip to BYU Education Week on August 16th, so Todd had quite a bit to do on his own.

But he did it. And I will be forever grateful that he did. Although, we still have yet to unpack everything. Moving sucks. I don't know how people do it.

We also celebrated our 3rd anniversary on the 21st. With many more yet to come, if the Lord wishes.

Todd also turned 28 a few days ago! We didn't do anything big, just went out to dinner.

Todd also started the last fall semester he will attend at USU. I'm so glad that we finally have a light at the end of this tunnel.

So..... There is something I need to confess......
I'm bad at blogging. I haven't updated this blog in about a year.
There. I said it.

Now I'm repenting.
I'm going to try and be better.
I'm not promising anything amazing.
Nor that it will be remotely interesting.
But I will try to blog more consistently.

I can't promise a quota.
I can't promise the world.
But I can try my best.

Now onto business!

School Update

We finally have a graduation date for Todd! If all goes according to plan, he should graduate at the end of Fall 2015 semester. Unless he decides to double major instead of minor in MIS. But that would only add one semesster.

So we are super eccited for that.

Clothes.

Well, good news. I have 2 garbage bags stretched to the limit with clothes that I will let my sisters comb through before I give them over to DI. However I still have many clothes left in my closet.

The hardest pieces (they're all still sitting in my closet) were my sweatpants. It'll be hard to let those go. Unless I wear them out. HAHAHA.

At least this is one item off of my to-do list :)

Fall Beginnings

August is kind of an important month for us.

It is our anniversary.

It is when the fall semester starts.

It is when Todd will be finished with his internship.

And probably many more things that I am forgetting at this moment.

The important thing is to be ready for whatever life decides to throw at you, be it lemons, melons, or if you're lucky, chocolate.

Get Todd ready for school

Go through clothes

Live in the moment.

Apartment #1

This was our first apartment.
It was quite a fun time, with black mold from a broken roof and asbestos in the bathroom.

We're quite happy to be out now.
